4th of July....

The 4th of July is probably my favorite weekend of the whole summer.  We have many traditions with family and it's just downright fun.  We were busy but oh so worth it.  We started out the weekend with the concert in the park in Centerville going to all the vendors at the fair and some of the kids helping with Gina's cotton candy booth again.

The next morning is probably the kids favorite part, the parade.  They always get loads of candy and they owe it all to Grandpa who goes and sits in the hot sun for hours trying to reserve the perfect spot!  He's da bomb!!!  And we got to have cute Makenna with us this year.  We love her to pieces and could totally adopt her into our family....just not thinking that would be okay with her mom.

Then we head back for a big yummy breakfast at grandma and grandpas and then swim and usually end up back at the park sometime that day.

After the fun games, we took off for Bear Lake.  We invited our good friends from medical school up to spend a few days and we had a total blast.  They brought their amazing boat and we just played for three days straight.  So fun and the kids all got to know each other better and they can't wait for the next get together.

And we had to take them on our favorite hike of course.....Limber Pines.  It is seriously so beautiful.

Such good friends for so many years.  Can't wait to see you all again in September at Bridger's mission farewell!  Love ya!!
