Girls weekend and Boys Jazz Night...

January was the month to have a little fun.  It's always good to do some things to take your mind off the cold dreary weather.  I hadn't seen my high school friends for a little while so I decided to invite them for a little weekend to the lake.  Ya I know, too bad the lake was frozen.  But really when you have girls, good food, and a fire, you don't need the beach....okay who am I kidding, we still need the beach but we had just as much fun staying in watching the snow fall.  I have such great friends....I mean really great friends.  We pick up right where we left off and act just as stupid as did almost 20 years ago.  I am so grateful for them and hopefully we can hang at the beach soon!

Also during this fabulous month, Russel took all three boys to see the Jazz.  They got there extra early and was able to get some signatures from their favorite Jazz players....pretty cool.  And of course Dad can be a real softie at times....so heck new jerseys all around...why not?

In all the years of going to the Jazz game, we have never once made it on the Jumbotron.....Ever.  But oh ya my boys know how to dance like crazy ones and of course they were the stars of that night. Wish I could've seen them.....maybe I should take some lessons in maniacal dance.
