Memorial Day Fun....

Image
Memorial Day weekend was a blast.  We let the kids bring some friends and we headed to our new favorite place....Bear Lake.  The kids had a great time working on their fort, playing games, and just being kids. The weather was a little crazy but I don't think anyone minded.  One night when we were doing s'mores out on the deck, it seriously started snowing.  It was so crazy and cool at the same time.....literally ;) Monday we headed back to Logan and Abi and Meili picked some flowers in our yard to take to Grandpa Earl's grave.  They found some cool rocks to put on the headstone which is a long standing tradition.  It was cute to see Meili start to understand that she has another grandpa, and that he's just not with us right now.  We LOVE YOU Grandpa Earl!

May Day May Day HELP!!!......

I can't believe May is already here and almost gone again.  It's absolutely crazy.  Josh came home one day as the end of school got closer and said "I can't believe how fast this year has gone....I'm pretty much almost a senior."  I glared at him and said "no you are not, you are almost a JUNIOR." He just laughed and said "well if you consider how fast this year went by, then ya I am almost a senior."  I really wanted to smack him. The kids all had lots of things going on in May.  It's always such a fun month but a crazy one too. Nick was involved in the Greenville Mile again this year and YES I was present and ON TIME.  I didn't miss even one second of it.  He did great and is such a good little runner.  Maybe he will be our little track star someday.  He has such great friends and had a great day being with them. The fourth grade classes always perform a Utah program every year.  Nick did a great job and looked so handsome.  I can...

Spring Sports....

We've had a lot going on in the sports department....wait, I'm pretty sure we always do.  I think spring is especially crazy though because most of the kids are involved in a sport instead of just a couple. Josh hit the golf course as soon as possible this year.  And it was actually pretty nice, spring came early for Logan and even when there was a little snow, he could just wait a few hours and it would melt.  So he has already had a great season and it's just beginning.  He was also one of the Girls Golf Managers for Sky View.....which pretty much means....golf the last hour of the school day and see cute girls at the same time.  He will be playing in some tournaments this summer and is really excited for that. Abi has been doing her volleyball and has had a great year.  Her team has really started playing like a team and it's definitely paying off.  She knows she only has one more year before tryouts for the freshman team at Sky View so she really w...
