JAZZ are back in BUSINESS!!

It's been a painful few months wondering and hoping the NBA would get everything worked out.  We were thrilled when they came to an agreement and even more thrilled that we were lucky enough to have tickets to the first home game.  It was a great night and had a great time with mom and dad.  They of course won against Philadelphia and it was an awesome game.


We then had another wonderful night with our good friends, Jenny and Paul Welsh, where the Jazz took on the New Jersey Nets with DERON Williams and Okur!!!  WE trounced them obviously. :)  Great game and even better company.    GO JAZZ!!!!


On February 1st, we invited Matt and Melissa to the Jazz vs. the Clippers game.  Melissa is Russel's cousin and both are dear friends of ours.....all the way back to college.  It was awesome to catch up with them and spend some time together.  It was a great game to watch but sadly Jazz lost by 2.  But we came away happy anyway considering how fun it was to watch.  Josh really wanted to go to this game....mainly to watch the MVPs on the Clippers team but it was a late game.....but maybe next time.  We didn't get home until after 1:30 so it was a good choice to leave the kiddos home.

Meili's 6th Birthday...

Meili's only request this year was to spend her birthday in Bear Lake.  That was not a problem.  Since it was also Raspberry Days that weekend, my family planned to come spend a fun-filled weekend with us.  Russel and I decided to come the night before and bring the three little kids with us.  We thought it would be super fun to go down to the KOA and rent a 6-person bike and ride around town.  It was a little harder than we thought since Russel and I were pretty much the man power.  We kept telling the kids to start pulling their weight and get pedaling!  JD kept complaining a little that his heart was hurting.  Well he's definitely a little athlete so I'm just thinking he's being lazy.  I kept telling him to get his groove on and get moving. Girls, Girls, Girls....

So I have a lot of catching up to do in the blogging world. Several things have happened this month so I am devoting however long it may take today to get everything posted. This past weekend Abi invited 4 friends to go to the Nutcracker with her and Meili....of course Russel and I tagged along as well. We went to the matinee showing and beforehand they had a Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party that was an absolute must. All the girls dressed up in fancy dresses and we had a great time. The tea party was decorated like a little girl's dream. Pink everywhere, sparkles covering everything, gooey pink sweet dessert, and many performers from the show mingling and taking pictures. Abi is truly blessed to have such good friends and this is only just a handful of them. The girls were so cute and had a great time. Beautiful Drive up Logan Canyon...

On Saturday, we decided to take a little drive up the canyon and look at the beautiful fall colors and my oh my were they gorgeous!! We've been up there twice this week and just can't get enough. This time we remembered the camera. :) The kids loved seeing the vibrant leaves. The drive is truly an hour of awesomeness. Plus it's always nice to know there's a very yummy fresh raspberry shake waiting for you....not to mention chocolate covered raspberries. Just a few of our favorite moments in Bear Lake. Here are a few of the "hundreds" of pics that Russel took. He has "trigger finger." I think I narrowed it down pretty good though.....although sometimes it's hard to tell if #95 looks better #3. :)
