USU Homecoming Game and Reunion 2011...

Another great reunion and homecoming game at USU.  It's been a tradition for quite awhile and it's always fun for the kids.  The reunion part is packed with good food, prizes, games, and of course Big Blue!!  Go Aggies!!

Huntsman Springs Golf Trip.....

We decided that when the children turn 15, we will take them on a special trip.  Josh turned the big 1-5 this summer and so he has thought long and hard about where he would like to go.  Of course, we knew it would be a golfing trip, but he explored many options including the famous Pebble Beach in California.  Russel goes to a charity golf event every year to help Shriner's Hospital.  One of the auction items was a golf package at the Huntsman Springs Golf Course in the Teton Valley in Idaho.  He decided to bid on it and actually won it in the end.  It is an AMAZING course and quite prestigious.  Josh was thrilled.  He decided he would really like to have his cousin and uncle come along.  So the four of them set off for the weekend.  The weather was kinda dicey and the morning they left, they called the golf course to confirm everything.  They informed them they might not be golfing at all as there was snow on the ground at the mom...

Lake Powell 2011......

I know it's been months!  I'm finally back.....actually I've been blogging here and there along the way, just haven't finished any until tonight.....so YES 4 new posts.....LONG posts.  I know you just come for the pics anyway, the words are for my history :) Yay!!!  We made it to Lake Powell this year!!!  The kids just kept waiting for the plans to fall through.  We have gone every year since Josh was born and he's always loved saying he has been to powell as many times as he is years old.  Well we just plain ruined it for him two years ago.  We just couldn't get it figured out and then last year with the China trip, it threw everything off and we didn't make it happen again. With the kids getting older, it's difficult to near impossible to take them out of school....BUT this year we planned way ahead and scheduled it for the week before school started.  And amazingly enough, we GOT it!  The kids were thrilled. It was an awesome trip......def...
