Huntsman Springs Golf Trip.....
We decided that when the children turn 15, we will take them on a special trip. Josh turned the big 1-5 this summer and so he has thought long and hard about where he would like to go. Of course, we knew it would be a golfing trip, but he explored many options including the famous Pebble Beach in California. Russel goes to a charity golf event every year to help Shriner's Hospital. One of the auction items was a golf package at the Huntsman Springs Golf Course in the Teton Valley in Idaho. He decided to bid on it and actually won it in the end. It is an AMAZING course and quite prestigious. Josh was thrilled. He decided he would really like to have his cousin and uncle come along. So the four of them set off for the weekend. The weather was kinda dicey and the morning they left, they called the golf course to confirm everything. They informed them they might not be golfing at all as there was snow on the ground at the moment. They decided to go for it anyway. It turned out just perfect. The weather was beautiful and the course was incredible. Josh and Ryan shot great games and I was the proud mommy as it was quite a difficult course. Russel and Calvin did well too but the younger team beat them!! Way to go Josh and Ryan. Here are some awesome pics from that day.
P.S. Russel forgot the camera and I was sooo sad......but I must say the iPhone pulled through!! I was amazed at the pictures he got. That's why we love our Apples!!
