I know it's been months!  I'm finally back.....actually I've been blogging here and there along the way, just haven't finished any until tonight.....so YES 4 new posts.....LONG posts.  I know you just come for the pics anyway, the words are for my history :) Yay!!!  We made it to Lake Powell this year!!!  The kids just kept waiting for the plans to fall through.  We have gone every year since Josh was born and he's always loved saying he has been to powell as many times as he is years old.  Well we just plain ruined it for him two years ago.  We just couldn't get it figured out and then last year with the China trip, it threw everything off and we didn't make it happen again. With the kids getting older, it's difficult to near impossible to take them out of school....BUT this year we planned way ahead and scheduled it for the week before school started.  And amazingly enough, we GOT it!  The kids were thrilled. It was an awesome trip......def...

August 1, 2011 Wow what a great day and the many days surrounding it.  On August 1, we celebrated Meili's 4th Birthday and on August 2nd, the 1-year anniversary of having her part of our forever family.  It was wonderful to reminisce and think about the many things that have happened in the past year and also think about our very fond memories of our time in China.  Remember these sweet faces?? It's hard to believe a whole year has gone by, yet we can't remember life without sweet Meili.  She's growing up and you can definitely see that just by looking at pictures over the last year.  That part makes me sad.  She needs to stay my baby for longer.  I missed the first 3 years and to have her turn 4 already.....well that's just plain mean.  But it's also exciting to see her change so much and learn and grow like she is.  It's amazing to see her soak it all up like a little sponge.  Her language is exploding.  I now can understand proba...
